Considering I enlisted my friend Glen to look up a quote for me on the internet this morning to finish off my performance piece, it went surprisingly well. The audience was totally responsive and had some rad things to say at the end. Many of the girls my age connected really easily to the piece which was also cool. Not exactly my best performance but it went alright. I'm not completely down on myself. I was nervous about playing my bass in front of so many people because I never play in front of people but other than a few fuck ups I survived. Fuck, I even sang, I can't even get drunk and sing karaoke but I can sing on stage. I'm weird. Got a lot of good feedback for the characters and the transitions which is essentially the bulk of the piece so yeah. Happy Day.
I ended up using a part of the Gogol Bordello manifesto for my ending and now I'm going on a Gogol Bordello binge.
If I can survive this weekend and next week of school I will be in the clear. I have to write a million papers on top of working and moving out of the house. But in true Lisa style, I'm planning on taking a nice long skate tonight before it snows again.
PROCRASTINATION!
